APRIL Q&A: THE ART OF BUILDING ONE STYLE

Unlike anything, I am most excited about the warm weather. As we enter May, I am looking forward to wearing my fashionable outfits without covering them with a coat. It’s time we break out those crop tops, skirts, and warmer weather clothes. For April Q&A, you guys asked me questions relating to time management, content creation, blogging, and more.

I have not answered the questions in any particular order. Let’s get into……

Question: How does one define their style?

Answer: I will start off to say style is a personal journey, not a destination. To help you on your journey, start with the basic closet essentials you can style into different outfits. Check out my blogpost on closet essentials: 7 ESSENTIALS YOU NEED IN YOUR CLOSET! This post should help you with building out your closet and personal style as well.

Question: What excites you most about blogging?

Answer: The knowledge I have gained from blogging cannot be priced. Blogging has opened my eyes to a whole other world, and I love that. Having to create outfits, collaborating with brands, and building meaningful relationships with you all excites me about blogging. Blogging has enabled me to tap into my creative side, and I love that very much.

Question: How do you manage your time? You are so good at it all.

Answer: Confession, I do have a project management background, and if you know anything about PMs, we must master the art of time management. We understand the importance of time and how to use it well. We must delegate our time well to achieve our goals. This is the mindset of my brand. I make time for each activity on my list to prevent overlapping. I also have a very good support system in place that helps a lot.

Lastly, I do not deprive myself of breaks or launching time. I do have times where I just sit around and do nothing. Either watch movies or catch up on my favorite Kdramas. I believe in rewarding myself, which in return will enable me to do good. So, if you see me posting on my feed, on my stories, and answering to your DMs, just know I have delegated time for those activities, and I also reward myself daily for a job well done.

Question: Any tips for bloggers on content creating?

Answer: As you’re aware, I am a new blogger; however, what has worked for me is understanding my audience and creating content that resonate with them. It can be content relating to outfit ideas for an occasion or just sharing my story with them and that transparency they appreciate. My only recommendation is, understand your targeted audience, asking them questions in your story regarding to the type of content they would like to see from you, and go from there. This works all the time.

This brings us to the end of our April Q&A. Thank you for participating in this month’s Q&A. You can be part of the Q&A by sending me questions via my DM or leaving them in the comment of any posts on my Instagram feed or the blog.

Until next time, please comment, share and repost.
