I love a good, fashionable sale. I have been very intentional with my budget lately, and it is still a work in progress, but we’re not going to talk about my budgeting habits today. Let’s get into the fall pieces I found that are all under $100. Here are some buying or budgeting tips I keep in mind when shopping.
If the item is over $100, I ask myself how many times can I style this piece? If it’s less than five, then this, my friend, is a splurge, and splurging should be an occasional thing. I must be able to style a piece at least 5-10 different ways. I also ask myself, is the quality worth the price? If it’s yes, that item is still a splurge for me. Lastly, what I do is leave it in my cart for a day or so. If I remember to come back to it, then I really liked that item. If I forget and don’t come back, that means it was an impulsive buy I wanted to do and did not. This has helped me a lot and it still does.
