If you are not using Pinterest or don’t know what Pinterest is, you must be living under a rock. Pinterest has become my go-to place for style inspirations since becoming a blogger. From home decor inspo to birthday party theme ideas to style inspiration, you can find everything on Pinterest.
Pinterest is just the go-to place to get your life organized and in place, lol. Let me share my five secrets of using Pinterest with you all today.
First, I create mood boards for different event outfits. When preparing for a shoot, I would normally go on Pinterest, create a private board, and add pieces to that board based on what I am looking for. All my shoots and content are carefully planned and executed. I use Pinterest as a virtual mood board.
This brings me to the next point of creating a private mood board. You have the option to make your mood board private or public. For content related to the blog or just content planning, I always create those as boards private, and things that I love or seek my interest are public with my audience.
Number 3, this one is for my content creators. Pinterest gives you the option to schedule content right in the app. Unlike other apps and social media platforms, Pinterest allows you to plan up to 30 contents in the app. I find this very useful, especially with batch content creating and scheduling. As a one-person team, I need all the help that I can get. This feature in Pinterest has been extremely useful to me.
The fourth reason why I use Pinterest is for a variety of things. If I am looking for a London-style or Parisian-style outfit, Pinterest has it all for me. Trendy fashion and more are all at your fingertips with Pinterest.
Finally, I also use Pinterest to bring traffic to my blog. All my Pinterest posts are directed to my blog, which has increased my blog traffic and views. I struggled with creating traffic to my blog for a very long time until I decided to try Pinterest. Best decision ever. I am never looking back.
