At this point everyone is over Summer. I mean who wouldn’t be! This summer was far from our usual norm. All of our plans were shattered due to COVID-19, but the good news is, we are all still alive and that is all that matters.
Speaking of Summer, most of us (myself included) still have those amazing Summer outfits we had planned and did not get to use. One of mine was this beautiful floral print dress from SHEIN. I had planned to rock this beauty in Las Vegas with hubby for his birthday trip we planned, but that did not happen, so now here we are. Summer is over, Fall is upon us, and I still wanted to wear this dress somehow. To bring my vision to life, I wore this amazing dress with my knee-high purple boots from Shoe dazzle, added my yellow bag from Zara and made it very Fall appropriate. I am loving everything about this dress. From the print, the color palette, the ruffle sleeves, the neckline and the length. This dress is just beautiful.
THREE TIPS ON HOW TO TRANSITION YOUR SUMMER DRESS
Although we all love the fall fashion, don’t ditch your summer dresses just yet. Here are three tips to help you incorporate your summer dresses into fall looks:
1. Add a pair of boots: for this look, I want with a knee-high boot but depending on your location and the weather, you can add a bootie
2. Layer up: with a blazer, or cardigan
3. Invest in some statement jackets: it’s always good to splurge sometimes. A statement coat can last you for many falls/winters to come
