Denim has evolved over the years, and the styles are continuing to evolve as well. Mom and boyfriend jeans have been trendy, and I am here for it. I love 90’s inspired high-waisted jeans. High-waisted jeans flatter my body, and I love that.
Today, I am sharing how I styled two styles of jeans. First up is my Zara 90’s inspired high-waisted jeans. I have styled this pair of jeans so many ways, but my favorite was recently when I paired this pair of jeans with a white crop top. The drama in the sleeves of this top gives this look that extra character. I finished the look with an oversized hat and a pink mule. The Pink mule was the pop of color that this look needed to make it stand out. Also, the oversized yarn hat added a whole lot of drama to this look. Sometimes, you just have to get outside of your comfort zone and add character to the look.

Next up is this pair of skinny jeans from Anthropologie. I also took this pair of basic jeans from bland to fab by adding a dramatic lavender ruffle blouse and a pink mule. The contrasting colors of lavender in the top and pink mule made this look stand out. I have always loved the idea of using colorful shoes to bring out an outfit.

You can wear either look to dinner, date night, or brunch with the girls. Which outfit fits your style personality the most?
That’s it for today, Queens; see you next time.
Xoxo, Mo!
I love both ways that you styled these jeans Mo! Especially the pop of color of the shoes! Please keep these coming! You’ve inspired me to get a big floppy hat. Thanks so much!
I sure will keep them coming. Thanks Kangelia!
