My style has changed a lot over the past couple of years. The older I get, the more I am investing in quality pieces. Pieces that will last me many seasons to come.
Lately when I shop, I am looking for pieces that I can wear for three plus years. This has stopped me from buying fast fashion pieces, but rather quality and long-lasting pieces.
Not to say anything is wrong with fast fashion, but the older I get, the more I want my style to represent my age. I want what I wear to be a representation of who I am as a person.
This was not always the case, but the thing about growing up is, your taste and style changes. When it comes to fashion, I see it as an ever-involving journey. It changes over time and that’s the fun part about it.
