Before I got married, I spent money as if I was the richest kid in Africa, my 30 Billion Gang will understand what I mean. Truth be told, whatever amount you earn annually, you must learn to manage your finances accordingly to avoid financial hardships when they do come. One of the many lessons I have learned from my hubby is that “you don’t live above your means”. So, keeping his words in mind, I budget shop these days, lol! After all, affordable style can be lux, let me teach you.
I have been on the hunt for a perfect plaid skirt that is of a reasonable price and most importantly, one I would like. I must admit, when I found this plaid self-tie high waist pleated skirt from SHEIN, I was on cloud nine. I am a huge lover of SHEIN. You can find amazing pieces on their site for very reasonable prices. From date night, to office attire or girl night out, you can find all those pieces on SHEIN for good prices. Prices that will leaves your account balance smiling lol.

Keeping in mind that we’re in Fall Season and the weather is beginning to get chilly, I went for a fall friendly look:
- Black top – Black is a versatile and one of my favorite colors.
- Plaid Skirt– everything about this skirt I love.
- Coat – Perfect time to bring out my Zara coat. Coat is old but similar coat
- Heels – You can wear either a Sandals, Boots, Pumps or wedges with this look
- Sunglasses – Black like I did or your favorite pair of sunglasses
- Hat – my favorite Target hat or your fav.
Fall and winter season is all about layering, so I went for it. I added my Zara coat, some hat and a sunglass to give this outfit a very fall/winter appropriate look. Skirts can be transitioned from all seasons and it’s versatile. You can add a turtleneck, boots and trench coat to this skirt for some office appropriate attire.
