This post is long overdue. I love perfumes, and just smelling like a million bucks when I walk into a room is a must for me. I love my smell to leave a lasting impression when I leave a room. I wanted to share this part of me with you guys for such a long time now, but I just don’t know why I have not done this, lol. Well, never late than ever. Today’s post is featuring some of my all-time favorite summer and day-to-day perfumes. From least expensive to expensive, I got you covered in today’s blog post.
First up is my all-time favorite perfume TURQUATIC by MAC Cosmetic. The ingredients in this perfume are anemone, lotus, orris, and Corsican blue cedar. I am not a perfume expert, but this perfume is magic in a bottle. It smells soft, elegant, and settle. I have used this for years. It’s the only scent in my collection that I do not have to mix with other perfumes to give me the smell I am looking for. It’s very long-lasting. The 50ml cost $64, and it’s worth it, guys. If you’re looking for something affordable and smells amazing, this perfume should be your first stop.
Next on the list is Rose Gourmand by Zara. I am not sure if Zara restocks these, but I have come to love this during the summertime more so than I did in winter. It was very suffocating for me during the cold seasons, but now, I love it for the summer scent. It has geraniol, Ethylhexyl salicylate, Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, citronellol, ci 19140, ci 17200, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, bht, and aqua. It also has alcohol. For some, it might be a winter perfume because of the overpowering scent, but I oddly prefer it for summer. I mostly wear this to the gym. This perfume 80lm cost $25.90.
Libre by YSL made the list because it has to . You can’t say summer scent and don’t have Libre in the lineup. It’s exquisite and has a little bit of sweetness to it. I use this for date night and chill summer evenings. I sometimes will mix Libre with Chanel Mademoiselle to take away the sweet scent. This is a floral fragrance with Lavender, Orange Blossom, & Musk accords. The 90ml or 3oz cost $132.
Chanel Mademoiselle has become my summer favorite, just because, come on, she’s Chanel. This scent is so classic and elegant. It’s one of those scents I keep for special occasions, lol. The ingredient in this perfume includes Alcohol, Fragrance, Water, Linalool, Limonene, Benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Coumarin, Citral, Benzyl Alcohol, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Ci 14700 (Red 4), Ci 42090 (Blue 1), Il28-1. If you notice, it has some of the same ingredients as the Zara perfume but has better quality in scent/smell. The 3.4oz cost $145 or less, depending on where you purchase it.
Finally, it is Baccarat Rouge 540. Now, this is the most expensive of the bunch costing $300 for the 2.4oz; however, it’s something you don’t need much or use daily. The truth is, this is not one of my favorite perfumes, but it made the list simply because sometimes you need to smell expensive, and this right here is it. If you’re looking to invest in a name-brand perfume, this is your starting point. Baccarat Rouge 540 is well received all over the world by women. They love it, and you should not be an exception. My mom, who is the queen of perfume and introduced me to that world, is obsessed with Baccarat Rouge 540 after she tried mine on. It is long-lasting and stays on for a long time even after you wash your clothes. It’s just a classic scent. Ingredients includes alcohol; parfum (fragrance); aqua (water); Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate; butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane; Ethylhexyl salicylate; limonene; bht; benzyl benzoate; linalool; eugenol; benzyl alcohol; ci 60730 (ext. violet 2).
That brings us to the end of today’s post queens. I see you all in the next post.
Xoxo, Mo!
