Although I’m not too fond of the cold seasons, I do however; love the fashion. This year, we had lots of trends, from color (Brown) to Shackets. Shackets are the “IT” factor for this season. Everyone in the fashion world got a Shacket, and I don’t blame them.
If you don’t know what a Shacket is, “A shacket is a shirt thick enough to be halfway between a shirt and a jacket—an ideal, year-round layering piece” Thank goodness for google.
Many brands created their versions of shackets, but my personal favorite among them was the H&M brand. H&M did not disappoint with their Shacket. The quality, color, and style were astonishing. I loved the softness, and the inside fabric was well made. It was not a cheap fabric, so it did not easily rip apart. Have you ever gotten a coat, and a few days later, all the inside fabric ripe up, and you can’t even use the pockets? That was not the case with the H&M Shacket. They did an amazing job with the item, and I must say it was my best buy this year from H&M and one of my favorite pieces currently in my closet.
I found it so easy to style, so today, I am sharing three ways I styled a schacket.
Look 1: The first look was with a satin black dress. I paired the Shacket and the dress with a crossbody bag and white bootie giving me that chill but chic look. One thing I do like about my clothing and style is comfort. I love to be comfortable in anything I wear, so this was definitely up my alley.
Look 2: Next, I paired the Shacket with a leather pants and a bodysuit. What brought this look altogether for me was the blue pumps. The Touch of extra color was the “IT” factor for me. I love everything about this look. You can easily wear it to the in-laws or a night with the girls. I might even wear this to work.
Look 3: Finally, I created a casual look with the Shacket by pairing it with a tracksuit and white bootie. Tracksuits were also one of the trends this season. This look can easily be worn to run some errands on a Saturday.
Personally, I believe Shacket is a good investment piece to have in your closet. You can wear it all season, and you can style it in multiple different ways. I think Shackets will be around for a while due to how well people received it this year. For me, I can’t wait to see how you’d style your Shacket.
