Skincare has become such a big part of my life. If anyone told me about a year ago that I would be obsessing over the product I use on my face and its ingredients, I would laugh in your face and call you a bluff, how time has changed. I now find myself these days researching products and how they benefit my skin.
Today, I want to share some of the products that are part of my summer skincare routine.
I currently use the Kojo White bar soap. This soap helps me with hyperpigmentation and sunburn scars. It reduces the overall appearance of scars. I do wear sunscreen, but on days that I don’t remember to wear them, well, I have the Kojo soap to get rid of the aftermath.
Next, I use the Good Molecules Overnight Exfoliating Treatment. This product was added to my collection a little over a month ago, and it does magic to my skin. I love how my skin feels the morning after I use it. I use this about twice a week.
Another product I use from Good Molecule is the Niacinamide Serum. Since I started using this serum, I have noticed many changes in my skin and overall appearance.
Lastly, from Good Molecule, I use the Niacinamide Brightening Toner. (Disclaimer, these products do not bleach your skin. It does not have the same ingredients as bleaching products; however, they are meant to clear up your skin)
Finally, I added the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream to my nighttime face cream. I do love how lightweight this product is. It’s not too oily or heavy on my skin.
Oh, one more product, I added Makari Moisturizing Sunscreen to my summer skincare collection. It has an SPF 50, and with the Makari brand, if you are dark in complexion like me, you must be very careful in using their product. You might end up lighting your skin unintentionally. I do, however, love the sunscreen and how gentle it is on my skin. I use this couple of times a week but not daily. Again, I work from home, so I don’t really leave the house much.
